Yosetsu Awase (泡 (あわ) 瀬 (せ) 洋 (よう) 雪 (せつ) , Awase Yōsetsu^?) is a student at U.A. High School training to become a Pro Hero.

Appearance

Yosetsu has long black hair spiked up and backward, and rounded gray eyes, tilted inwards. He usually wears a patterned headband around his forehead.

For his Hero Costume, he wears a baggy, full body suit, its collar passing his chin. He wears shoulder pads, and he has a bag on his belt in which he keeps various items, including metal and blocks of wood, to aid with the use of his Quirk.

Personality

Although he is not talkative, Yosetsu is foul-mouthed and tense. However, in serious or life-or death situations he is very easily startled and becomes much more talkative, while still being foul-mouthed.

Yosetsu is very selfless, as he continued to carry Momo Yaoyorozu with him even though the Chainsaw Nomu was catching up with him, refusing to leave her behind despite her slowing him down. He is also willing to put himself in danger to fulfill a plan, despite showing fear.

He is also said to be very proud of his Quirk and confident in his abilities with it.

Weld (溶接, Yōsetsu^?): Yosetsu's Quirk gives him the ability to fuse objects together at the atomic level. However, the Quirk will not work unless he touches both objects.

Super Moves

• Construction-Done-Kwik: Weldcraft (早業着工 ウェルドクラフト, Hayawaza Chakkō Werudokurafuto^?): Yosetsu swiftly binds an opponent to a structure by interconnecting them with metallic logs. First used to detain Katsuki Bakugo during the Joint Training Arc, but was countered by Rikido Sato's Sugar Rush Quirk.
