Kill... them allll! Let's go nuts.
Woman to the other High-End Nomu in "High-Ends"

Woman (ウーマン Ūman?),[2] was one of Doctor Garaki's intelligent High-End Nomu that he kept in his lab under Jaku General Hospital. She and her kin act as some of the secondary antagonists of the Paranormal Liberation War Arc.

Appearance

Woman was unique compared to other Nomu in that she possessed a more feminine body-type, having visible breasts and a shapely figure. Like other Nomu, her brain was visible at the top of her head. Her scalp, flensed to expose her brain, was left attached at the back of her head, creating a fin-like structure of flayed skin. She had similar structures on the back of both of her elbows. She also possessed some hair at the back of her head.

While it appeared that Woman did not possess a mouth, in truth, it was merely hidden inside her chin when it was closed. She had two rows of long, jagged teeth.

Personality

Woman was shown to be quite aggressive and bloodthirsty. Immediately after being activated, she expressed an intense desire to go wild and kill Heroes.

As she began to stabilize, however, she also showed signs of intelligence, thinking and speaking with good grammar and experimenting with her opponents' Quirks in combat. She was able to quickly deduce the function of Eraser Head's Quirk and was quick to test its limitations.

Synopsis

History

Before turned into a High-End Nomu, Woman was once a villain with a disposition for combat. She was carefully selected by Doctor Garaki to be made into a Nomu for this reason.[2]

Paranormal Liberation War Arc

As the heroes start their raid on Jaku Hospital, Doctor Garaki prepares to use Johnny's Quirk to warp himself and Tomura Shigaraki to safety. Before he can, however, Mirko bursts inside his lab, inadvertently killing Johnny in the process.

The now trapped Doctor releases five High-End Nomu, one of them being Woman, in an effort to push Mirko back as he tends to Tomura. Woman, acting as a sort of impromptu leader to the other High-Ends, openly declares her desire to kill the pro heroine.[3]

Woman and the other High-Ends begin attacking the pro, but due to being released early without proper stabilization time, the Nomu are easily pushed back by Mirko, with one even being killed by her.[4]

Pro Heroes defeating High Ends

Overwhelmed, High-Ends are defeated by the Heroes.

As the High-Ends clash with the Pro Heroes, Woman notices that her Quirks are being disabled and searches for the source. She identifies each of the Pro Heroes' Quirks before finding Eraser Head, realizing that he is suppressing her Quirks using his gaze. She eventually finds out that she can avoid Erasure by avoiding Eraser Head's line of sight, so she runs across the room to dodge him. Woman manages to regain access to her Quirks, relishing the "clear" and "amazing" feeling of getting her abilities back before combining her Liquification and Rupture Quirks to attack the Heroes.[5]

She is later subdued by the High ranking heroes when Tomura and Doctor Garaki are captured by Present Mic and X-Less.[6] Endeavor uses this opportunity and burns her head off when it was vulnerable, not allowing her to regenerate it. Her body was then left on the ground when Tomura started decaying the hospital, ensuring her death.[1]

Abilities

Overall Abilities: Like other Nomu, she was shown to be decently powerful, being able to take several hits from Mirko without going down.

Immense Speed: Woman was capable of moving incredibly quickly, which she uses to evade multiple Heroes at once.

Tactical Intellect: Like other High-End Nomu, she's capable of speaking, and in fact seemed to be able to speak more coherently than Hood. She proved herself to quite analytical, going out of her way to mentally note the Quirks of the pro heroes to figure out which one is responsible for neutralizing her Quirk. Once she figured out who was responsible, she began to question and test the Quirk's limits in an effort to better understand her opponents.[5]

Quirks

Super Regeneration (超再生 Chōsaisei?): Like all High-End Nomu, Woman possessed this Quirk, which gave her the ability to regenerate from any damage she took.

Liquification ( (えき) (たい) () Ekitai ka?): Woman's second Quirk allowed her to liquefy her own body. She mainly used this Quirk to rapidly reposition herself or dodge attacks.

Rupture (炸裂 (さくれつ) Sakuretsu?): Woman's third Quirk allowed her to detonate parts of her own body.
