Personality[]

Wolfram is an avaricious and manipulative Villain who will crush anything or anyone to get what he desires. He desires money and works as the leader of a troupe of thieves. They even masqueraded themselves as fake villains for hire to earn the trust of David Shield, just so they could steal his invention and enslave him to make more.

Wolfram cares little for anyone other than himself. He tries to kill his employer, Samuel Abraham, even after the latter kept his end of their agreement. Wolfram looks down on others and enjoys taunting them. With help from All For One, Wolfram believed he could defeat the No. 1 Hero All Might. He enjoys tormenting people by mocking their heroic decisions or inflating their villainous ones.

Abilities[]

Izuku Midoriya vs Wolfram

Wolfram fighting on even grounds with Izuku.

Overall Abilities: Wolfram is a very capable individual as evidenced by All For One who was willing to entrust him with a muscle-enhancing Quirk showing great faith in his abilities. Even without the Quirk Amplification Device he was able to easily overpower Izuku Midoriya, one of the strongest students of Class 1-A.

  • Leadership Skill: Wolfram is the leader of a small team of villains who he was able to decisively organize for his heist, each one performing their role and orders as instructed. His subordinates were not only confident in Wolfram’s leadership and plan, but were able to fight on par with the prodigal students of Class 1-A for a short time.
  • Tactical Skill: Wolfram showed strategic intellect by hiring skilled personnel for his heist, most importantly in the form of an unnamed hacker who took control of I-Island's security systems. This was accomplished by having his hired crew pretend to be fake Villains for hire in order to steal the Quirk Amplification Device. In combat Wolfram has also shown his tactical intellect by applying his skills as a con artist to hinder his opponent’s decision-making, taking advantage of their mistakes he catches them off guard with a bombardment of attacks.
  • Con Artist: Wolfram was able to pass himself and his subordinates off as a group of fake Villains for hire. His ability to deceive, influence and manipulate being displayed by how he swindled both Sam and David by taking advantage of both individuals' emotions.
  • Anonymity: David and Sam didn't recognize Wolfram as an actual villain. This suggests that Wolfram has taken steps to ensure that he has stayed under the radar. After the chaos he caused on I-Island, he has most likely lost this advantage.

Quirks[]

Metal Manipulation

Wolfram uses metal to attack Izuku.

Metal Manipulation ( (きん) (ぞく) (そう) () Kinzoku Sōsa?): Wolfram's Quirk allows him to freely reshape and manipulate metallic material upon making physical contact with its surface. It can be used for offensive and defensive purposes, such as creating flexible pillars to crush his targets, and tall, sturdy walls to defend himself and trap his opponents in.

Muscle Augmentation ( (きん) (にく) (ぞう) (きょう) Kin'niku Zōkyō?): Given to him by All For One, Wolfram's second Quirk allows him to increase his muscle mass, greatly increasing his physical strength. This Quirk is very similar to One For All, but not as powerful.

Equipment[]

Handgun: Wolfram carries a loaded handgun with him.

Former Equipment[]

Wolfram taunts All Might

Wolfram with the Quirk amplification device.

Quirk Amplification Device: A headset that drastically increases the strength and range of the wearer's Quirk. Wolfram stole it from David and used it to boost his own power. It was destroyed after Wolfram's battle against All Might and Izuku Midoriya. Using it Wolfram was able to overpower All Might, and only lost due to the interference of the U.A Students.

Enhanced Strength: Using the Quirk Amplification Device The scope and scale of Wolfram's Quirk's increase dramatically. Using his Muscle Enhancing in conjunction with Metal Manipulation he was able to overpower even All Might.

Enhanced Speed: Wolfram was able to react to both All Might, and Izuku's attacks.

Trivia[]

  • "Wolfram" is the German name for tungsten, which is a reference to his metal-based Quirk.
  • Wolfram using a metal mask to cover his facial scarring may be a reference to Marvel's Fantastic Four villain Doctor Doom. Additionally, one of Doctor Doom's many abilities was the manipulation of metal, albeit via equipment rather than natural or magical power.
  • Wolfram shares his birthday with Inko Midoriya, Christopher Skyline and Cathleen Bate.
