Whirlwind (旋風 Senpū?) is a Quirk possessed by Inasa Yoarashi.
Description
Inasa generating vicious gusts of wind.
Whirlwind grants Inasa the ability to completely control the air around him.
Inasa is able to manipulate gusts of wind with little to no movement from his body at all. However, if he can't move his arms or legs the wind loses significant strength and speed.[1] Inasa can control wind as a gentle current or a powerful ice-shattering gust.[2]
This Quirk is effective for greatly increasing Inasa's mobility and its offensive power is also equally as great. Great winds can be used to propel Inasa, the people around him, and different objects all at the same time. [3]
As high temperatures are known to push air away, large amounts of fire may affect the flow of Inasa's wind, disrupting his control over his Quirk.[2]
Usage

Inasa has great delicate control over his Quirk. He was able to outpace Shoto Todoroki during the entrance exams by using wind to propel himself as a tornado through the race course.[4] During the licensing exam, Inasa channels countless different wind currents through each other while moving debris and saving people without either process colliding with one another.[3]
Offensively, Inasa often sends strong gusts of wind at his opponents, blowing them away. For defense, Whirlwind is effective at deflecting projectiles and giving Inasa the maneuverability to evade incoming attacks.
Inasa's Hero Costume helps him generate miniature tornadoes that allow him to fly. This occurs by flushing the wind through the tubing around his body to suspend him in a tornado. [5]
Initially, Inasa's Quirk clashed with Shoto's Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk because the latter's heat compromised wind flow.[2] When Inasa and Shoto actually work together, they're able to combine their Quirks to achieve different feats. By combining wind with fire, they were able to trap Gang Orca in a spiraling flame tornado.[1] By combining wind with ice, the duo created a beautiful playground for young children. [6]
