Katsuki Bakugo: Origin (爆豪勝己：オリジン, Bakugō Katsuki: Orijin^?) is the seventh volume of the My Hero Academia series.

Katsuki Bakugo is featured predominantly on the cover. It looks like he is preparing for battle, screaming at the top of his lungs. The backgrounds features the training ground where he is taking the practical portion of the End of Term Test, which is surrounded by rubble and smoke.

The illustration comprises of Kyoka and Momo in a trashed office space, dressed up in a formal work suit and glasses, with a look of confidence on their faces.

Author's Notes

“	This is just how I feel personally, but the most exciting part of any superhero movie or comic is the process of becoming a hero. And I mean "exciting," which goes a level beyond "interesting" in how it creates a sense of anticipation. So I set out to make a story about becoming the greatest hero there ever was that would perfectly capture that excitement, even for myself as the author. The stage for that was set way earlier than I expected , but I've still got a ton of story in me so I'm going ahead at full throttle	”

Volume Summary

Izuku has learned a few tricks from Gran Torino, but some things just have to be experienced to be understood. Even though he’s not ready, when the League of Villains attacks in the town of Hosu, Izuku rushes to help Tenya, who is engaged in a life-and-death struggle with Hero Killer Stain. Stain has some very particular ideas about heroes and their place in society—and he means to purge the world of every hero he can find!
