This article is about Shoto Todoroki's older brother. For the Eight Bullets' member of the Shie Hassaikai, see Toya Setsuno.

Toya Todoroki ( (とどろき) (とう) () Todoroki Tōya?) is the eldest son of Enji and Rei Todoroki.[1]

Appearance

As a child, Toya had a round face and unruly red hair that spiked up in tufts around his head, falling down his forehead in uneven bangs. His eyes were pale-colored and oval-shaped, and he was pictured with a neutral expression. He also appears to wear a plain gakuran jacket.[2]

In the present times, it is unknown what Toya currently looks like.

Personality

In the past, Toya could be seen to play with his siblings indicating he got on with them well. Nothing is known about his personality in the present.

History

Deemed failures by their father, Toya and his younger siblings, Fuyumi Todoroki and Natsuo Todoroki, were raised separately from their youngest brother, Shoto Todoroki.[3]

Toya seemingly has additional complications to his current relationship with the rest of the Todoroki family.[1]

Abilities

Quirk

Unnamed Fire Quirk: Although most of the details are unknown, Toya's Quirk apparently allows him to produce fire. It's been stated that, although this firepower is greater than that of his father, he inherited Rei Todoroki's weak constitution and thus was apparently unable to utilize his power to its full potential, which is the reason why Endeavor deemed him a failure.[4]

Trivia

  • Toya's first name contains the kanji for "lamp" ( ?) and "arrow" ( ya?).
  • In the Season 4 ending "Shout Baby", there is a burnt photo along with the other photos of the Todoroki Family and a young Hawks, possibly referencing Toya's status as unknown in the present.
