Class 1-A

Mashirao Ojiro

Toru and Mashirao.

The pair are close friends and are often seen associating together.

They were teamed together as Team I during the Battle Trial Arc and ended up being quite close. Mashirao is the only boy that Toru talks to on a regular basis. When Toru exposed Yuga as the traitor, she is seen crying and leaning on Mashirao's shoulder for support, demonstrating a stronger bond between the two of them.

Kyoka Jiro

They appear to be good friends, as they are often seen talking.

During the Sports Festival, Kyoka was put off by Toru's desire to act as a cheerleader after they were tricked by Denki and Minoru.

Toru was also thankful for Kyoka halting Minoru's attempted peeping on the girls locker room.

Mezo Shoji

The two appear on good terms, and work well as a team. They were partnered up against Snipe during the final exams. They showed trust between each other as Shoji was willing to expose himself to Snipe in order for Toru to sneak behind and capture Snipe, resulting in the pair passing the exam.

Ochaco Uraraka

Toru appears to be friends with Ochaco, if not on good terms at least. The two usually hang out with the other girls outside of class, be it in U.A.'s cafeteria or in U.A. Alliances' lounge room. One night after training for their Ultimate Moves, she, Mina, and Kyoka tried to find out who's Ochaco's crush is before Momo and Tsuyu tried to stop them. Upon returning from their mission to save Eri, Ochaco and Tsuyu are both hugged by Toru, who is content that they're okay.

Tsuyu Asui

The two had some interaction with each other, They often sit with Ochaco, Tenya, Shoto, and Izuku during lunch. While developing Ultimate Move for the Provisional Hero License Exam. Toru asked how hers is coming along. She told her that she created a move that would make her more frog like than before. Tsuyu even said that even her could be surprised. After the Shie Hassaikai Raid when Izuku, Eijiro, Ochaco, and Tsuyu returned, Toru hugged the two girls, relieved that they were both okay.

Momo Yaoyorozu

The two girls are close.

When the students of Class 1-A were sent to the The Beast's Forest, Momo helped defeat one of Pixie-Bob's Earth Beast by using a cannon when Toru was distracting one of them. When the students of Class 1-A were doing their Ultimate Move Training, the night before the Provisional Hero License Exam. Toru asked how her Ultimate move was going. Momo told her that there was a move that she wanted to do but her body wasn't ready for it.

Izuku Midoriya

The two haven't interacted much, but they seem to be close. She doesn't seem to mind when Izuku is muttering to himself. One week before the First Term Final Exam, she sat with him, Tenya Ida, Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Shoto at the Lunch Rush Cafeteria discussing how they were going to pass the practical exam. She also joined the rest of her class in trying to get him to return to U.A. after he left to protect them.

Like the rest of her class, she puts great trust in him. This was best seen when she discovered that Yuga Aoyama was the U.A. traitor and immediately rushed to tell Izuku this news, who believed her story and went with her to confront the Aoyama family. She also shielded him from Aoyama's attack after he tried to escape.

Shoto Todoroki

The two have not interacted much, but Toru admires Shoto's strength. After the fight with against the villains during the U.S.J. Arc, it was revealed that Toru was warped to the Landslide Zone along with him. She was unaware Shoto didn't realize that she was present or worried that he could have accidentally froze her. When the students were moved into the Heights Alliance, during the competition with the dorm rooms, when it was Shoto's turn to show his dorm room. Toru was excited to see a look into Shoto's quiet and private life.

Rikido Sato

The girls enjoy Rikido's cake.

The two have not interacted much, but they were teamed up with each other during the Calvary Battle at the Sports Festival. Rikido was the one to alert her that her headband was missing during the Calvary Battle. When the students were moved into Heights Alliance, during the competition with the dorm rooms, in Rikido's room all of the girls except Tsuyu were enjoying the cake that Rikido baked.

Yuga Aoyama

While the two have had little interaction, Toru and Yuga appear to get along as friends and fellow classmates.

Following the Paranormal Liberation War and Deku's return to U.A., Toru had noticed that Yuga had not smiled even once and left to check on him, out of concern. However, she ended up overhearing Yuga's talk with his parents, she is shocked and horrified upon learning that Yuga was the mole within U.A. who had been leaking information to All For One. Upon noticing Izuku's arrival at the scene, she hears Yuga admit everything. When the Aoyoma family tries to flee, Yuga fires his Navel Laser defense, Toru reflects the laser beam away with her body, yelling that so many people have had their lives endangered, and that Yuga had the nerve to sit in the same class and live in the same dorm as them. The light from Yuga's laser also reveals a part of Toru's face, and she is shown angrily crying because of her friend's betrayal. She was still crying during Yuga's interrogation.

Despite this, after learning the full story and hearing Izuku's pleas towards Yuga, Toru gains the desire to forgive him and help redeem himself alongside the rest of her class. She was later happy and relieved to hear that Yuga would be playing a part in their grand plan against the villains.

During the Final War, she came to his aid while he fought Tartarus escapee Kunieda. She shows she forgave him by calling him a hero, as she uses his quirk's attack with her own quirk to defeat Kunieda.

As a result of her attack, Toru was rendered partially visible and was embarrassed by being naked, begging Yuga to look away as she hid herself. He complied and apologized that he was indirectly the cause of this situation. She soon praised his ability for evolving, but he simply responds they need to burn away the plants to save the Heroes, since they would continue to grow even after their user was defeated. Toru also worried if his body could handle his plan of adjusting the strength of his light but he says today is his last day as a U.A. student, so he will do whatever it takes. Yuga later gives Toru his tattered jacket to cover her nudity, as they continue to clean up all of Kuneida's plants and freeing the Heroes.
