Togaru Kamakiri (
Appearance
Togaru is a tall, slender young man with pale yellow-green skin (grey-ish blue in the manga) and a bright, fluffy green mohawk. His dark green eyes are pointed downwards to the center of his face, and two hooked blades jut out from either of his cheeks. He has no visible nose, and the shape of his head resembles that of an insect with mandibles.
His hero costume consists of a large dark cloak, plain black trousers and boots. He has a mask around his eyes and a zig-zag pattern on his shirt.
Personality
Togaru is a hot-blooded person who appears rather aggressive in terms of behavior, akin to Katsuki Bakugo, albeit not to the same extent as the latter. He also seems to have a passion for fighting against his enemies, demonstrated by his desire to battle Class 1-A in the Joint Training Arc.
He is gym buddies with Tetsutetsu and sees Bakugo as a personal rival.
Abilities
Togaru reflexes are impressive enough for Katsuki Bakugo to comment on during a altercation they had in which Togaru was able to block a point-blank explosion from Katsuki.
Quirk
Razor Sharp (刃鋭 Jinei?)[1]: Togaru's Quirk allows him to produce large blades from any part of his body.[3]
These blades are sharp and strong enough to cut through pipes made of steel and iron, and durable enough to withstand a point-blank explosion.

Trivia
- Togaru's surname contains the kanji for "scythe, sickle" (鎌 kama?) and "cut, to be sharp" (切 kiri?), and his first name contains "apex, to taper to a point" (尖 togaru?).
- When put together, the kanji used to write his surname can mean "praying mantis," although "鎌切" is an uncommon way of writing it.
- In Volume 22, Horikoshi mentions that Togaru's design was influenced by Jean-Henri Fabre's Souvenirs entomologiques and collected insects.
- Togaru likes collecting insects.[2]
- Due to their similar personalities, Togaru views Katsuki Bakugo as a rival.
