Translation Notes[]
Could it be that there are idioms (or the like) in play in the lyrics?
For example, "足を引っ張りあう" literally translates to "pull legs together" (or in order, "足 leg" "引っ張り pull" "あう meet") but is it an idiom for either betrayal or literal stabbing in the back?
Personally, this is just my relative lack of knowledge of Japanese wordplay and maybe the two faithful covers I've seen fell for the pitfall this translation brought forth. Some clarity would be appreciated.
