I'm rereading volume 11. In chapter 95, Tomura is the one that was placed in foster care. "In order to keep her grandson as far from the world of heroes as possible...she put him into foster care". A child's silhouette is shown in the back.
What does this mean? Tenko may not have killed his bio-father (Shimura) but a foster parent he regarded as his father. It's difficult to know because 1)Tomura's memories are not reliable 2)we do not have great understanding of time. When did Nana put Tenko into foster care. How old was he. The silhouette shown could be that of a toddler or maybe not.
I'll post this in discussions although discussions topics have not been showing up in recent activity. --TyLee (talk) 02:14, April 13, 2019 (UTC) Edit discussion topic: https://bokunoheroacademia.fandom.com/f/p/3216274079350977549
Nana was too young to have a grandson at that time though, it makes more sense for the one put in foster care to be her son (so the grandson thing is probably a mistranslation or something) -Mango-Pango 11:15, April 13, 2019 (UTC)
I read the official release in volume format. The panels before that only her grandson and husband are mentioned.
- Gran Torino:"So Tomura Shigaraki...is Shimura's grandson...?
- Detective: "Didn't the two of you ever interact with Ms. Shimura's family.
- Gran Torino: Shimura's husband was killed. In order to...."
- Detective: "So that promise was turned on its head...pretty tragic."
Plus, why would she put her own child in foster care and not have a close confidant so much as contact him? Why would the Detective say the promise was turned on it's head? It's not her son who is aligned withe League but her grandson. No promise was made in regard to the grandson. I think the this page should be deleted as Tomura/Tenko's father is still unknown just like his mother.--TyLee (talk) 11:55, April 13, 2019 (UTC)
How would she even have a grandson at such a young age though (she looked like she was in her 20s-30s during her last battle with AFO), I'm so confused -Mango-Pango 12:03, April 13, 2019 (UTC)
