Shoto Todoroki vs. Villains is a battle fought between hero-in-training Shoto Todoroki against several unnamed villains associated with the League of Villains.
Prologue
Having been suddenly ambushed by dozens of villains, Thirteen and Shota Aizawa try to evacuate Class 1-A from the U.S.J. facility. After Shota descends to the central plaza to fight back against the invading villains, Kurogiri slips past him by using his warping Quirk to appear before the students and Thirteen by using his warping Quirk.
Kurogiri introduces himself and the League of Villains before inquiring about the whereabouts of All Might. Thirteen tries to use his Quirk, but Katsuki and Eijiro jump out and attack Kurogiri.
Their attacks prove fruitless and Kurogiri uses his Warp Gate to separate the class and send them to the various simulation zones.[1]
Battle
Shoto is warped into the Landslide Zone with several villains. He surmises the villains plan to separate the students and kill them off. Shoto swiftly freezes most of his attackers using his ice powers and taunts them about being easily bested by a child.[2]
Shoto walks past his frozen victims and evaluates the current conflict. He deduces that the majority of the villains are mere small-time thugs and they do not have the ability to compete with All Might. One villain comes at Shoto with a sword and Shoto counters by freezing him with ice generated from a foot. Another thug tries to stab Shoto from behind, but he easily evades before grabbing the villains weapon and freezing him as well.
Requiring more information to further analyze the situation, Shoto interrogates the incapacitated villains. He warns them if they remain frozen they will die of hypothermia, and offers to unfreeze them in exchange for information about the villain's plans to kill All Might.[3]
Aftermath
One of the weak thugs Shoto defeated tells him that the League of Villains attacked the U.S.J. in order to kill All Might. Shoto makes his way towards the central plaza of the facility and finds All Might fighting there. He finds All Might trapped by Kurogiri and Nomu and intervenes by freezes Nomu's body without injuring All Might, saving the hero.[4]
After the Pro-Heroes arrive with Tenya and the villains are defeated, Shoto gathers with his class outside the U.S.J. He finds out that Toru Hagakure was present for his battle with the villains. He admits to himself that he never noticed her presence, and could have frozen her by accident.[5]
