My Hero Academia ( (ぼく) のヒーローアカデミア Boku no Hīrō Akademia?) is an anime series by Studio Bones based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi. It was announced in issue 49, 2015 of Weekly Shonen Jump. On March 8, 2016, Funimation announced it had acquired exclusive international rights to the series.
