Shouldn't the manga/anime differences for League vs Snatch go into the Episode 77 page? I don't think you need to place them there, just put the differences in the episodes' page. (Feel free to respond if you want)
Also, I've noticed none of the battle pages for this arc have the "Manga/Anime differences" subtab.
Hey since you're on Discord you might not have known. I was away last weekened and didn't get to do Episode 73 til a few days later. But i'm good to go today so let me lead and you can follow up. You've been a great help as of late, thank you.
I was wondering because we edit the Vigilantes pages... if we should rename the Little Sisters page to Sisters of Saint Lila’s Academy because they really aren't "Little" anymore and "Sisters" alone sounds bad.
I also have a request because Teruo Unagisawa kind has multiple physical appearances (Civilian - Instant Villain - Next Level - Current), if you could find a decent picture for his current form for his page. It would be appreciated.
Is their any evidence in Vigilantes that suggest Fat Gum had an Agency during that part of the story? If not then all Vigilantes information should only be on Fat Gum's synopsis because he could be working independently, and including that information on the page is an assumption if not out right stated.
It goes without saying that every Pro Hero, have his own agency or office. If not, you are a mere sidekick. According to the BNHA Ultra Analysis Book, Miruko is the only pro hero who never had an agency because she prefers to do hero work in her own style.
Heroes can work independently without their agency/office involved, they don't ask for Fat Gum's Agency to help they only ask Fat Gum himself, you can also make the same argument for Eraser Head. Who presumably should have an agency but is working alone. (A present day example would be the police asking only Best Jeanist to help during the Kamino Raid and not his entire agency)
The wiki goes on fact, not on assumption... we don't know how long Fat Gum's Agency been operating, he could be working alone for all we know. Saying Mirko is the only Pro without an office it just present day knowledge not vigilantes timeline knowledge.
The agency is always involved, as every Pro-Hero must keep up paperwork for all their heroics. It doesn't matter if this heroics are from a formal request from the police in their offices, or because someone suddenly asks for help.
As Ultra Analysis Book says, all Pro heroes (except Miruko) have their own Agency. And it has been proven that the first thing someone does when becoming a hero is to open their own hero agency. What is the first thing that Aizawa did after graduation? Opened his own agency to go independent as a Pro Hero as soon as possible.
My point is Pro Heroes can do independent work, that doesn't involve Hero Offices/Agency or else everything they do would be consider Hero Work. Like Present Mic, being the announcer of the Music Performance... he just there doing a gig. In present day, Eraser Head profession is Teacher first than Pro Hero. When he is teaching he isn't being a Pro at the moment.
So saying anytime their involved is part of their Agency is incorrect, because who are we talking about... just the character. In the current anime arc, Nighteye ask for Hero Agencies (Fat Gum/Ryukyu/etc) to assist him in the investigation/raid they are talking about for the entire agencies help. (sidekicks & trainees) Which is why the Agency pages are meant to showcase.
My point is... if only one person is asked to help from an Agency/Office that doesn't mean their whole agency is involved. Like when Gang Orca assists during the Hideout Raid and not his sidekicks. So saying Fat Gum represents an entire agency that we don't know has sidekicks/trainees is misleading at the point of the Vigilantes story.
My point is Pro Heroes can do independent work, that doesn't involve Hero Offices/Agency or else everything they do would be consider Hero Work. Like Present Mic, being the announcer of the Music Performance...
But working with the police in a major anti-drug operation is anything but independent work. Like in the operation against Shie Hassakai, in the operations against the Villain Factory, Fat Gum had to participate in meetings, assist in investigations, collaborate with other heroes,...
My point is ... if only one person is asked to help from an Agency / Office that doesn't mean their whole agency is involved.
That could be true in minor jobs (like being the announcer of a local Music Performance), but not in cases like participating in an important and dangerous operation against a criminal organization.
Because Fat Gum is the only member of the agency at that time. An agency of heroes does not imply being formed by Heroes and a lot of Sidequicks, it can perfectly be simply formed by just a single hero, as with Shota Aizawa case, Gran Torino case, Miruko case and many others
Hideout Raid on that page if only Gang Orca was asked to help not his sidekicks?
Yes, because it is an important operation. As in real life, in an important operation (rescue, assault, raids, ...) you send people specialized and prepared to deal with such situations. In real life, you send the Swat, you don't send all the police officers of all the police station, including the Parking enforcement officer.
How do we know Fat Gum doesn't have anyone else working with him during Vigilante, that is an assumption... as much as believing he works alone in the past we have no information confirming or de-confirming he does...
How do we bring real life logic in a fictional world... no comment on that. You are clearly stating Gang Orca Agency hypothetical page should list Gang Orca small role in the Raid when only he was involved from his Agency.
Ok, don't be offended but you are being a hypocritical right now about the assumptions and "being hypothetical" thing, expecially considering that this conversation started just because of you being hypothetical about the no existence of the Fat Gum agency in Vigilantes. You talk about facts, but until now all your arguments are just assumptions and hypotheses.
Look, I don't want to continue with this discussion that goes to nowhere. Talk to others about what they think about the subject.
Taking into account that all Pro Hero have an agency and being already established (both in Vigilantes and the main work) that becoming a Pro Hero implies the creation of an agency almost immediately (and there are several examples of this), there is nothing to suggest otherwise.
Sorry I didn't reply because of an outside force during this time but Ushii made it very clear Fat Gum never stated he had an agency in Vigilantes, and we operate on fact. I really don't want to cause an edit war about this, but the word Agency itself means a group of people with a leader and in this case Fat Gum is working ALONE with Aizawa and Monika. I really don't want to lock the page but please understand, if you want you can move the information to Fat Gum's synopsis page because that's where it should go.
He also never stated he hadn't an agency in Vigilantes. His argument is based on the fact that we did not see his agency, which is not a very good argument because in Vigilantes we have not seen the agencies of many other heroes.
It has been established throughout the manga, Character Book, etc... that once you become a independent hero, the first thing you do is open an agency (is what Nighteye did after breaking his association with All Might, is what Aizawa did once he graduated,).
the word Agency itself means a group of people with a leader and in this case Fat Gum is working ALONE with Aizawa and Monika.
Sorry but you are wrong, it is possible to have an agency and work ALONE. In chapter 65 of Vigilantes, once he graduated, Aizawa started his own agency and worked ALONE for years. The word Agency itself means in the MHA universe you are a Pro Hero.
The chapter not only shows that you can start an agency and be alone, it also shows that being a Pro Hero imply having an agency.
I know realize me saying "Agency itself means a group of people with a leader and in this case Fat Gum is working ALONE with Aizawa and Monika" was incorrect. You're right in the sense we don't know anything about the other Pros during Vigilantes. We are never told if they do or didn't have an agency so it's incorrect to say they did. We know Shota did thanks to Chapter 65 and others (Midnight, Team Idaten, etc) but that doesn't mean everyone is operating under their own agency, or they could be a sidekick of someone else which is other words is speculation. If we were told out in Main Series, that Fat Gum he has his own Agency at the point of past that would be enough. All supplemental material is about the main series or "present day" unless it's said to be in the past.
Main Series Example
According to your argument that would mean Shota Aizawa should have an Agency page listing all he did in Vigilantes but which would just be a copy of his Synopsis, and there no need to repeat that information in two places. That would mean the same as Best Jeanist/Endeavor helping during the "Hideout Raid" because we know they had agency but I haven't seen you add that information to those proper pages, their probably more examples but if a singular person does something I don't think it belongs on an Agency page unless it's alright stated like "We asked Endeavor Agency to come but only Endeavor could come." I hope I made myself clear.
Hey Megistos there are certain pictures we avoid uploading because of their quality. Some pictures you've been uploading recently really aren't neccessary. Please don't use pictures where character models aren't clear. Don't try to force images into a synopsis, there are plenty of options readily available on the wiki.
I appeal more to functionality and purpose than quality, and I don't think readers are very demanding with images, but I will try to adapt more to your quality standards.
These images help the reader to better understand the information and the situation that teh articles want to convey. Also, psychologically, people are more predisposed to read texts that contain images than without them, since they have a visual incentive to do it. It is quite uninviting those long sections of imageless text, especially when they are is between two images.
And some reflect better the context of the situation. For example, I know we have an image of Naomasa with Gran Torino, but it is an image with little context. They are both sitting, static, looking at something. If you show it to someone who does not know about the story, he would not know how to tell you what is happening, the other at least reflects better that they are visiting All Might and fits better.
And I also think having extra images is never wasted.
P.S.: I hope you understand what I am trying to say, because it's quite hard for me to express myself in English, and I would not like to have said something that could be misunderstood or offended.
Thank you, I understand for the most part. However, too many extra images is not good for the wiki. They become unkempt and a mess. It's also a bad standard to set as new users will think its okay to upload any kind of picture.
We add context using the words and captions, not every image has to be spot on to explain the situation, but they do need to be high quality.
Try to restrict yourself to one image per 3 paragraphs. This allows the images to be wrapped in text without cluttering them. This makes both the text and the image look better.
In chapter 193 we see All For One steal a ton of quirks but we dont know their names or their current status. Should we add a extra category on All For One's page for these quirks or not. Sorry for bothering you.
Megistos I really appreciate everything you do, so don't take this the wrong way, but I’ve got to admit you’ve been getting a bit carried away recently.
Please don’t keep creating pages for every little thing. Shota’s goggles doesn’t need a page, you can leave that right in his equipment section. Also, some of the gifs you make can be captured in one still. (Red Riot Unbreakable and Manifest don't need gifs). Please allow me to make that call from now on when I upload the images for the episode. I've done every season so far and you're kind of throwing me off this season.
I would appreciate if you let me make the gifs since I enjoy it and that used to be my role. I haven't gotten to make a single gif since the season started and I would like to. Don’t spread yourself so thin, Please let me handle anime stuff I want you to keep focused on vigilantes.
If they are just random goggles, then I would not have created a page for them, however Vigilantes gives those goggles a background, and shows us that they are very important for Shota since they are the ones that his friend Oboro (press F to pay respect) gave him.
