So like, I have about a bajillion fanfic prompts for My Hero but I'm squeamish about writing them (mainly due to growing up in a household filled with Internet Paranoia Disorder) So I need somewhere to put them so someone else can do it.. Please help. I need places and you're the only person here that I interact with on a regular basis
I was bored and made one for Mei while I was 3D printing in my Dad's workshop. maybe you could use it...?
Mei’s Workshop _________________ (This is transcribed from a recording. All background noises, cursing, and crashes have been removed.) (Mostly) HelLO! It’s me, Hatsume! I was asked to write a section on the support class, but I’ll do it on the workshop in general! Let’s start! Today, I’m going to talk about 3D printing, mostly do’s and don’ts. A 3D printer is NOT something to be taken lightly. In the support course, we use these for stencils, costume additions, and anime figurines that are too expensive to buy. [Man, this chocolate is good. Sorry, got off topic.] We use a Prusa mk3 mmu2. It’s fancy. [OH CRAP IT’S MAKING NOISES POWERLOADER! okay it’s good now, it’s good!] Let’s get started with different steps~ 1. Find yourself an STL file! I usually use Thingiverse and Tinkercad, but there are many more! Today, I’ll be printing… Penny Polendina’s bow from RWBY! 2. Log onto Slicer. That’s what we use, anyways. Load your files, slice it, and turn it into a Gcode. *Loud whamming noise* [Hurry up!] 3. Plug the chip into your printer. 4. wipe rubbing alcohol on the bed, then CALIBRATE! IT MUST BE PERFECT! (If it’s not perfect, I’ve added troubleshooting) 5. Once it’s perfect, then start your print! 6. After the print has finished, Slowly lift up the plate and bend it to knock everything off. TROUBLESHOOTING Stuck to Extruder~ Slowly reach down, and clean off the nozzle. [OW! DANGIT! OWWW!] It will be hot. If it happens again, make sure that your plate is completely cleaned. [Ow…]
Not sticking to plate~ there are two possibilities~ 1. YOU DIDN’T READ THE INSTRUCTIONS 2. Your z axis is way too high! Live adjust it while its calibrating.
Burned fingers~ I warned you. It’s hot. Around 215 degrees Celsius. Get a small bowl of ice water and stick your finger in it, and pray that it doesn’t blister.
OTHER ~Gummi Bears are the supreme snack here! ~Turn on some music, it doesn’t help you concentrate, but hey! ~Different filament is fun! Use all sorts of colors! (I mostly use PLA, but that’s me)
[IT’S BROKEN! ITS. BROKEN. DAMMIT!] Thanks for reading! *Mei*
