Let me start off by saying I appreciate all contributions and that you're trying to keep everything accurate as a wiki should. However, ythe way you go about it comes off extremely condescending. Your user page says that you won't stand for injustice. No dedicated editor on this site is imposing their opinion or putting purposely incorrect information. Despite this, you constantly go at people who edit more than you do but you still act like you're above them.
In many cases you very well may be correct but there is no reason to be passive aggresive about it. You don't edit often and when you do you come off as thinking your knowledge is above everyone else's even though there are editors who work hard every day to keep the wiki in tip top shape. When you just come to argue once in a while, you become more a nuisance to the community than actually being a part of it.
As per Thread:56523, FirePsychic already spoke to you about the topic with Toga's Quirk and i'm not going to argue about it. It's been decided and you come out randomly several months later to create another argument about it. This type of know-it-all behavior and saying stuff like: "in other words, there was no damn awakening" is unacceptable for the community we've worked hard to establish.
Please re-consider the way you go about your contributions from now on. I originally left a much harsher message in a reply on Toga's talk page but I realized that type of aggresive discourse isn't going to get us anywhere. So if by chance you notice that I do apoligize.
The reality is you've been here a long time so you must care, and I appreciate anyone who cares. I'm just letting you know the energy you give off is what you're going tog et back from people here.
From what I read about Himiko's Quirk in Chapter 80, I interpreted that draining blood was her Quirk ability and did not realize that draining blood was a medium needed to activate her unknown Quirk; sometimes I misinterpret information. Thank you for the correction.
Sure no problem. A good idea is to read the "Fallen Angel" translation as well since they catch and include things that Mangastream does not. For instance when Ochako had her pinned down, Himiko actually talked about wearing the clothes "her love interests" wear.
What this all means is questionable, but it might be possible that her quirk allows her to transform into the people she has drank blood from and she might even believe she is that person when under the influence of the blood.
This is just one of my theories though so we'll have to wait and see what is revealed later.
Please refrain from creating articles with information revealed in new chapters before they've been scanlated by a trustworthy souce, such as Viz or Fallen Angels. Even if the chinese scans or raws are out or someone has translated the dialogues on the chapter, it's our policy to wait for a reliable scanlation. See our Spoiler Policy for more detail.
Even if a source isn't "trusth worthy" anyone can translate katakana. Her name is Himiko Toga = トガヒミコ . Anyway, I didn't read your spoiler policy because I didn't know you had one.
1. Will you reinstate the page I created once the chapter comes out?
2. This isn't a spoiler. She was revealed in Chapter 67, no in chapter 57 even. The only thing about her my page revealed that could even remotelty be considered a spoiler would be her name. Are you saying that a name is spoiler worthy?
Whether or not an information can be easily translated, a spoiler is a spoiler, no matter how minor it is. Though it is of no personal relevance to me, there are people who only read new chapters once they've been scanlated, and our spoiler policy takes them in consideration. Finally, rules still apply whether or not you have read them.
Yes, the rollback will be reversed once the chapter comes out tomorrow, by me or any other administrator. No one intends to throw your work into the trash, we'll only wait for the proper moment for it to be published.
And yes, her name qualifies as a spoiler, since it was information revealed on a chapter not yet scanlated. Again, our spoiler policy applies even to minor spoilers.
No, I wasn't saying that the rules shouldn't be applicable because I hadn't read them -- I was pointing out that I had no idea that this wikia had specific rules because I hadn't seen any rules. There are a pletoria of wikia, and this is the first one I've found that has rules created specifically for it. Exactly where are these rules? When I check the tab there is no [Rules] for easy access.
As for easily translated -- this was replying to the whole "trustworthy source" being needed. The manga itself should be far more trustworthy than any online community translation after all.
Questinon about spoilers. If say the next chapter reveals that a characters hair color is say pink. And this chapter hasn't been posted by any of the "trustworthy" online communities... would this be considered against the rules?
Again -- thank you for telling me about the rollback. There was some additional info I had planned to edit onto that page, but I will do that once the chapter is released. (Wait, how do you know the chapter will come out tomorrow?)
The rules can be found on the wiki navigation, under Community -> Policies. They've also been linked on the front page. Policies are common practices through wikis, though -- see Fairy Tail , One Piece , or Shokugeki no Soma for example.
And no, that case would not be considered against the rules. As stated on the spoiler policy, details about a character's appearance are an exception.
We can be sure the chapter will come out tomorrow because Viz releases the official translations on English Weekly Shonen Jump every monday.
