It can all change in a flash, depending how society and other people receive me. So I tried to imagine what my future might look like... and no matter what position I find myself in... you're always there, smiling. I need a constant like you in my life.
Makoto Tsukauchi to Koichi Haimawari in "I'd Better Not Lose"

Makoto Tsukauchi ( (つか) (うち) (まこと) Tsukauchi Makoto?) is Naomasa Tsukauchi's younger sister and the General Manager of the Captain Celebrity Corporation.

Appearance[]

Makoto is an attractive and fashionable young woman, with long black hair, a slim build, bright eyes with green contact lenses, hoop earrings, and a beauty mark below the left side of her mouth, usually exhibiting an earnest look and a charismatic smile.

Personality[]

Makoto is an intelligent, independent, and studious woman who possesses a strong determination towards her goals. She is generally kind and pleasant, but always knows how to get her way and isn't afraid to do some slightly underhanded methods to reach them. She appears to be popular and quite social and generally gets along with just about anyone she meets. By and large, she appears to be an average Japanese university student. Shoko Haimawari, Koichi's mother, considers Makoto to be the ideal daughter-in-law and completely out of Koichi's league.

When it comes to organizing and leading groups, there isn't really a better ally to have than Makoto. She is very good at getting people to work together, and while a bit manipulative, she tends to make things better for everyone involved. She is practically running Captain Celebrity's PR department and helps manage the event where Pop☆Step makes her stage debut.

Makoto also has a rebellious personality. She is quite predisposed to challenge the rules and authorities, although never to the point of committing anything illegal. According to her brother Naomasa, she has always been like this since she was a child, breaking the rules and promises when it suits her and trying to talk her way out of it, and this attitude has caused some disagreement between the siblings.

Abilities[]

Detective Skills: Like her brother, Makoto is shown to be proficient in gathering information.

Quirk[]

Polygraph (嘘発見器 (ポリグラフ) Porigurafu): Makoto's Quirk allows her to monitor the physiological signals of any person she touches, allowing her to determine whether or not someone is lying. However, she can't detect a lie if the person is relaxed or if the person in question doesn't believe they're lying.
