Daruma Ujiko (氏子達磨, Ujiko Daruma^?) is the pseudonym of a villain affiliated with the League of Villains. He is a faithful servant of All For One.

Appearance

Daruma is an old man who wears rather peculiar goggles. He looks very similar to the doctor who told Izuku Midoriya that he was Quirkless.

Personality

Daruma is an eccentric and deranged scientist who dutifully follows All For One's will. Like Gigantomachia, he doesn't believe Tomura Shigaraki is yet worthy of succeeding All For One, but due to a compromise he made with his former master, he is willing to give Tomura the chance to prove him wrong.

Daruma is prideful of his Nomu creations, referring to them as "children" and regarding the High-End ones as "masterpieces". He treats Nomus as offerings for All For One, although he has allowed some of them to be used by Tomura under his former master's wishes.

Daruma is overly cautious and secretive about any information pertaining to his person, preferring to stay in anonymity and avoiding close contact with anyone (but All For One) under the threat of death. Because of this, he favors communicating through electronics instead of directly, doing the latter only in special occasions and through his Warping Quirk.

Synopsis

Pro Hero Arc

After Endeavor and Hawks's fight with the Artificial Human, High-End, Dabi confronts the two heroes and initiates a fight with them. He is interrupted by Mirko, prompting Dabi to retreat by asking Ujiko for some help. Ujiko then activates his Quirk to warp Dabi away.

Abilities

Overall Abilities: Daruma's abilities are largely unknown, but he appears to be a genius capable of creating numerous artificial humans who are capable of using multiple Quirks.

Quirk

• Warping (転送, Tensō^?): This Quirk allows Daruma to make selected target or person (although it is possible for him to use it on multiple people at a time) produce a black liquid which serves as a medium for a portal. The black liquid foams out of the mouth of the person he wishes to teleport, engulfing them completely and thus making them vanish.

Trivia

• Daruma's pseudonym may be a reference to a Daruma doll.
• Daruma's appearance is similar to Doctor Eggman as both wear goggles and have a bushy mustache.
