Izuku Midoriya & Ochaco Uraraka vs. Katsuki Bakugo & Tenya Ida

Team A vs. Team D is a battle fought between Class 1-A heroes-in-training Ochaco Uraraka and Izuku Midoriya against Katsuki Bakugo and Tenya Iida during the Battle Trial Arc. The former pair (Team A) acts as the "hero team", whereas the latter pair (Team D) plays the part of the "villain team".

Battle

Katsuki ambushes Izuku from the ceiling and uses his Quirk Explosion on him. Izuku then grabs Katsuki's arm and throws him on the ground. He then tells Katsuki that he is not the weak person he used to be and that he has studied Katsuki's Quirk and tells him that he is "never giving up." Izuku, thinking of a plan, is hit by Katsuki. They fight even more and Katsuki flips Izuku on the ground. Izuku then tells shares his admiration for Katsuki, but Katsuki is mad that Izuku will not use his Quirk.

When Katsuki Bakugo starts to blow up walls, Tenya gets distracted, so Ochaco moves in to try to get the core. Tenya then blocks her way, but she uses special move, Skill Release to float above him to reach it. Tenya then rushes over to the core and moves it away from her, while she flies into a wall. Izuku then calls Ochaco's name and she grabs onto a pillar, while Tenya stands confused. The building starts to fall apart because of the battle. Ochaco uses the pillar to use an improvised move called Home Run Comet. Rocks are then flung at Tenya.

Aftermath

Katsuki and Izuku collide with Detroit Smash and Explosion. Katsuki defeats Izuku in their fight, but Ochaco Uraraka gets past Tenya Iida and gets the bomb, thus making the villains, Tenya and Katsuki, lose the Battle Trial.
