Quirk Apprehension Test Arc

Repeated Side Steps

Minoru using his Quirk in side steps.

Minoru Mineta is first seen sitting in homeroom when Shota Aizawa enters the room. He watches Mezo Shoji do the grip strength test and later utilizes his Quirk during the sideways jump test.[1] He ends up scoring second lowest, only before Izuku Midoriya. He is soon shocked to find out that Shota's threat of expulsion was just a "rational deception" so that the class would do their best.[2]

Battle Trial Arc

Minoru is paired with Momo Yaoyorozu on "Team C", much to his joy.[3] He, along with the rest of his classmates, watch Izuku and Katsuki Bakugo fight each other. At the end of the trials, Minoru comments on how cool All Might is.

When it is their turn, the Team C embodies the villains in the Battle Trial, facing Team G, made up of Denki and Kyoka. During the test, Momo gets mad at Mineta for doing nothing but leering at her.[4]

U.S.J. Arc

Class 1-A Warped

Minoru and his class getting warped by Kurogiri.

At the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, Minoru watches as villains invade the building.[5] Minoru tries to evacuate with his class, but after one of the villains warps everyone to different areas, Minoru ends up in the flood area along with Izuku and Tsuyu Asui. He is then saved by Tsuyu, who abruptly throws him into a boat after he made an inappropriate comment about her breasts.

Minoru thinks that the villains would never be able to kill All Might and says that he will come to save the day. Tsuyu tells him that the villains would not go through all this trouble if they did not know how to kill him and that they would torture them to death, which frightens Minoru. After Izuku says that they have to fight to win, Minoru is surprised and shocked at his statement.[6]

Izuku, Tsuyu and Minoru defeat Villains

Izuku, Tsuyu, and Minoru escape the flood area.

Minoru questions Izuku's decision to fight as their opponents are actual villains who could kill All Might saying that his idea is self-contradicting. He then suggests that their best decision is to wait for the Heroes of U.A. to show up. However, he is swayed when Tsuyu mentions the villains might not give them time to survive and might have something to kill All Might if they were so confident to invade. After Minoru explains his Quirk, he gets a silent reaction from Izuku and Tsuyu, causing him to wail about his Quirk not being suited to combat.

When one of the villains splits the boat in half, Minoru uses his Quirk in despair, which Izuku tells him to stop. After Izuku uses Delaware Smash on the water's surface, Minoru is grabbed by Tsuyu along with Izuku. He then begins throwing his sticky substance at the converging water. This causes the sticky substance to be converged with the villains, causing them to be stuck together by Minoru's Quirk, defeating them as they are unable to battle. Minoru then escapes with Izuku and Tsuyu, with Tsuyu telling him that he did a great job.[7]

Izuku Tsuyu Minoru See Shota Defeated

Izuku, Tsuyu and Minoru witness Eraser Head's defeat.

Tsuyu then asks what they should do next, reminding them that Shota is at the central plaza holding off the large group of villains. Minoru protests, but ends up heading to the central plaza with Izuku and Tsuyu to try and assist Shota, but when they arrive, he is horrified to see Shota badly beaten due to the work of a monstrous villain and further asks Izuku if they really should do something.[8]

When the villains surprisingly decide to retreat after being informed that Tenya managed to escape to warn the rest of the teaching staff, Minoru is happy to hear it, hugging Tsuyu in the process and touching her breasts, much to her displeasure. Tsuyu dunks his head underwater and she holds it there for a while as a punishment.

Mineta cheers for All Might

Minoru cheering for All Might.

Tomura, however, notices the trio and attempts to kill both Minoru and Tsuyu after being initially interrupted by Shota from doing so. Then, suddenly, All Might appears, with Minoru being ecstatic to see him.[9] He is then rescued by All Might along with Izuku and Tsuyu. All Might entrusts the trio with the unconscious Shota, who they carry to safety as Minoru cheers for All Might all the while.[10] After the battle with the League of Villains is over, Minoru is seen with his class, showing worry about Shota's condition when told by Naomasa Tsukauchi about the seriousness of his injuries.[11]

U.A. Sports Festival Arc

Minoru stuck to Momo

Minoru's "genius" idea.

Once the Obstacle Race begins, Minoru is seen trying to get past the narrow gate. He manages to avoid having his feet frozen by Shoto Todoroki. Minoru tries to attack Shoto with his new move, but a robot punches him and he is sent reeling back.[12] He eventually manages to finish the race while holding onto Momo's back, much to his happiness but to Momo's disgust. He places 18th, allowing him to participate in the next event, the Human Cavalry Battle.[13]

Minoru is then seen asking Mezo if he can team up with him, which he allows.[14] After the Human Cavalry Battle begins, Minoru is seen on Mezo's back hiding behind his tentacles using his Quirk against Izuku and his team. Minoru then orders Mezo to attack Izuku and Shoto's teams.[15] Mezo charges, but Denki releases a huge amount of electricity, electrocuting Minoru and his teammates. Shoto then freezes Mezo's legs, stopping Mezo in his tracks.[16] After the Human Cavalry Battle ends, Minoru and his team fail to qualify for the final event.[17]

Minoru and Denki's scheme.

Minoru is seen eating lunch during the noonday break. Afterwards, he and Denki trick the girls of Class 1-A into doing the cheering battle, saying it is a message from their homeroom teacher. After the girls of Class 1-A walk out in their cheerleading outfits, Minoru and Denki hold thumbs up in their success.[18] After Shoto defeats Izuku, Minoru along with Ochaco, Tenya, and Tsuyu go to Recovery Girl's office to see Izuku. However, Minoru is forced to leave as Recovery Girl states that Izuku is going to undergo surgery.[19]

Minoru writes down and reveals his Hero name: Freshly Picked Hero Grape Juice.[21]

After Class 1-A is finished formulating their Hero names, Minoru is given a list of 40 work places in order to choose a work place that he wants to train at. Minoru states that he wants his work place to be with Mt. Lady, causing Tsuyu to think that he is having unclean thoughts, to which Minoru denies this accusation. On the day of the work place training, Minoru is at the train station with his class so that he can travel to the work place of his choice by train.[22]

Mineta Hero Internship with Mt

Mineta "enjoying" his Field Training with Mt. Lady.

Minoru arrives at Mt. Lady's workplace, but his experience there turns out to be anything but enjoyable. The hero ends up having him do menial labor rather than training him, much to Minoru's annoyance. Though it's revealed that Mt. Lady made him do worse tasks such as house chores and organising her paperwork.[23][24] The workplace training comes to an end and Minoru returns to U.A. with nothing but bad memories. In Class 1-A, Minoru talks to Denki about his workplace experience, telling him that he knows the true nature of women now.[25]

After Foundational Hero Studies is finished, Minoru is in the boys' locker room, having changed into his school uniform. Afterwards, Minoru finds a hole in the wall and becomes excited that the hole will let him see the girls' locker room. Tenya reprimands Minoru for his behavior, but Minoru decides to look through the hole anyway. Minoru excitedly takes a peek through the hole. However, Minoru's eye is stabbed by Kyoka's earphone plug.[26]

Final Exams Arc

Team Mineta & Sero vs

Minoru and Hanta vs. Midnight.

One week before the end of term test, Minoru smugly remarks that there is also an exercise test, sarcastically saying that it will be tough (only because he doesn't have low grades), much to Mina and Denki's annoyance that Minoru does not have such a low grade. On the day of the exercise test, Mr. Principal reveals that Class 1-A will be fighting against U.A.'s teachers for their exercise test.[27] Minoru is paired with Hanta and they must face Midnight in their test exercise. He wonders how to strip Midnight, only for Hanta to tell him he's the worst.

Minoru, Hanta and Midnight arrive in an uninhabited city where Class 1-A's test exercise will take place. In the city, Midnight explains the 30-minute test; Minoru and Hanta must either handcuff her or one of them must escape the battlefield within 30 minutes in order to win and pass the test. The test begins.[28]

Minoru cries tears of blood

Minoru is so jealous of Hanta's "luck" that he cries tears of blood.

Minoru struggles against Midnight due to Hanta falling asleep because of Midnight's Quirk, Somnambulist.[29] Unable to do anything, Minoru begins running away.[30] Minoru is continuing to run away from his opponent while Midnight is sitting at the escape gate with a sleeping Hanta on her lap, much to Minoru's jealousy. Minoru overhears that everyone is passing and begins questioning why he wanted to become a Hero in the first place. Minoru says that he wanted to become a Hero in order to be admired and become cool.

Suddenly, Minoru is whipped by Midnight who has decided to chase after Minoru. Minoru tries speaking but stops when he realizes that the moment he opens his mouth, he will become susceptible to Midnight's sleeping gas. Minoru continues running away and admits that his experience in U.A. has changed his perspective about his reasoning for becoming a Hero; he wants to become a Hero not to be admired but to become a cool Hero.

Grape Rush anime

Minoru uses his Grape Rush.

Midnight criticizes Minoru for running away. However, Minoru tells Midnight that his cowardice and his lack of courage was all part of his plan to lure Midnight away from the escape gate and Hanta, all in the name of becoming a cool Hero. Minoru also informs her that as fan of hers, he is aware of her Quirk and charges at Midnight with Hanta's tape wrapped around his mouth to prevent him from inhaling Midnight's sleeping aroma, as Midnight continues to lash her whip at him.

Minoru uses his move Grape Rush (which involves throwing the sticky substance from his head at the opponent while running towards them); Minoru's move hits Midnight, causing Midnight to become stuck in place which allows Minoru to run past her. Midnight, Izuku, and Recovery Girl praise Minoru's plan for luring away Midnight and then sticking her in place with his Quirk so that the sleeping gas wouldn't reach him. Minoru takes off the tape, grabs Hanta and drags him out of the escape gate with him, allowing them to pass the practical exam.[31]

Episode 36

Minoru and Hanta pass.

Back in class at U.A., Minoru is happy to hear Hanta admitting that it was thanks to Minoru that they passed the practical exam; Minoru shows a smug look of satisfaction on his face. Minoru learns that he passed the written test and will go to the forest lodge which is a boot camp along with his classmates. Minoru along with his class go to Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall to buy necessities for the forest lodge. At the shopping center, Minoru wonders where he can find peeping goods and drills.[32]

My Hero Academia: Two Heroes

Minoru and Denki are hired as extra staff on I-Island, so they head over there and work part-time at a café, eventually meeting Izuku and several other classmates. They are scolded by Tenya, claiming that they must represent U.A. as good workers.

Dejected after a day of hard work, Minoru and Denki are surprised to know that Melissa Shield has invited them to the reception party, to which they happily accept. At the party, the two react pleasantly to the girls' formal clothes, and are reprimanded by Kyoka Jiro. However, the security system sets off an alarm, locking down the entire island and leaving the students stuck in the central tower. They later learn that the villain Wolfram has taken the island hostage, frightening Minoru greatly. Tenya suggests that the students escape since they can't legally fight villains. However, Melissa reveals that I-Island's security is on par with Tartarus's. Shoto and Kyoka believe that they should try to help while Minoru and Momo believe they can't. Awkward silence is interrupted when Izuku says he wants to save everyone. Despite being clearly terrified, Minoru agrees to helping them rescue I-Island.

Denki Kaminari promises Minoru a harem

Denki promises Minoru a harem.

They decide to accompany Melissa up to the tower so that she could disable the security system. They scale over fifty floors before coming to a stop at a closed shutter on the 80th floor. Minoru makes a mistake and opens the door to the main section of the floor, notifying the villains of their presence. Before shutter doors close them off from both ends, Tenya and Shoto make an opening and break the group over to the plant factory. Seeing that the elevator is coming up, the group hides, but are surprised to know that the villains are confronting Katsuki and Eijiro, who were lost. Shoto protects the two with an ice wall and sends the others up with an ice pillar.

The group notices a small door on a roof panel, and volunteer Minoru for the job. Minoru accepts after Denki convinces him by telling him that he could get a harem, and climbs up from outside the tower using his balls and opens the door for his friends. Izuku's group passes the 100th floor and notes how the shutters have opened for them. Tenya and Momo deduce that the villains are trying to lead them somewhere. They reach the 130th floor and are greeted by dozens of security bots. Denki uses his move, Indiscriminate Shock 1.3 Million Volts, but it proves ineffective against the robots, so Momo uses smoke bombs to interfere with their communication systems. Minoru uses his balls to trap the security bots, which are finally pushed back thanks to the efforts of Tenya and Izuku.

Minoru Mineta overuses his Quirk

Minoru overuses his Quirk.

They meet another wave of bots in the server room on the 138th floor, and the group lets Melissa, Izuku, and Ochaco go on while the rest fight off the security bots. After some time, their Quirks are exhausted, and so the group is restrained by the bots. Melissa later freed them by taking back control of the security system. They go to the top of the tower and cheer on All Might and Izuku, and witness them defeating Wolfram with a Double Detroit Smash. Afterwards, Minoru is seen hanging out at a barbeque party with the rest of his classmates.[33]

Forest Training Camp Arc

Because Izuku was assaulted by Tomura in the Shopping Mall (but leaves without hurting him), the next day after the shopping trip, at U.A., Shota informs Class 1-A that the destination for their lodge trip has been changed and the new destination will only be announced on the day of the event. The first semester has come to a close and summer break has begun.[34]

Following the end of the semester, Minoru and Denki arrive at Izuku's apartment and ask him to train at the pool before the training camp begins. At U.A. High School, they ask Shota Aizawa if they can use the pool, which Shota confirms. Of course, Minoru and Denki have no real intention to train. They scheme to see the girls in bikinis after Minoru overhearing their plans to use the pool during the summer to have a good time. Foreseeing that Shota would intuit their intentions and not give them permission, they invited Izuku under the pretense of doing water-related training.

Swimming Competition - Round 1

Swimming competition.

However, Izuku ends up inviting all the boys of Class 1-A to participate in endurance training. Despite this setback, Minoru and Denki still hope to see the girls in bikinis. The girls are present but they're wearing the school-mandated swimsuits. While Denki is dismayed, Minoru is somewhat satisfied, which Denki admonishes as having "a lack of standards". To their horror, their plan completely backfires when both are forced to train by an enthusiastic Tenya, who congratulates them for their "great idea" of training before summer camp, while the girls were on the other side using the water for leisure.

Minoru and Denki end up totally exhausted, so the boys decide to take a break from intense endurance training, while the girls play volleyball. Katsuki abruptly arrives and challenges Izuku, and Tenya decides to hold a competition to see who can swim fifty meters the fastest. The boys go in groups. Minoru competes in the group of Katsuki, who wins the race using his Quirk to reach the other end of the pool without even swimming. He also protests when Shoto, like Katsuki, uses his Quirk to win the race without swim. Izuku wins on his turn, so the final race will be between him, Katsuki and Shoto, but before they can begin, though, Shota arrives and kick all the students out of the pool area.[35]

On the day of the summer camp, Class 1-A boards a bus that will take them to the forest lodge destination. An hour later, Class 1-A’s bus stops for a restroom break. Minoru is looking for a place to pee. There, they meet Pixie-Bob and Mandalay, two members of the Wild, Wild Pussycats, who challenge the students to reach base camp past the forest in three hours. Then, all Class 1-A is forcibly thrown into The Beast's Forest by Pixie-Bob's Quirk, which they must traverse to reach their destination.

Class 1-A in Beast's Forest

Class 1-A bands together to face the challenge.

Minoru goes into the forest to find a place to pee, when suddenly, he is confronted by a beast. The shock makes him pee in his pants. Koji tries using his Quirk to control the beast but it does not work due to the beast being made out of dirt. The monster tries to attack Minoru but Izuku jumps in to save him. Then, Izuku, Shoto, Tenya and Katsuki mobilize and use their Quirks to destroy the clay beast. More earth monsters emerge from the forest to attack them, so Class 1-A work together to fight their way through the forest.[34] Annoyed by the fact that the monsters made him wet his pants, Minoru immobilizes one of the Earth Beast with his sticky balls, trapping it for Denki to leap onto its back and burn it with a 1.3 Million Volts of electricity.[36]

Class 1-A begins traversing the Beast's Forest, destroying any dirt monster that faces them. However, the journey through the forest to the Cabin takes around about eight hours. At 5:20 pm in the evening, Class 1-A finally arrive at the facility, battered and tired. Pixie-Bob admits that she thought they would take longer to get to the facility; she praises Class 1-A for figuring out her Earth Beasts quickly and easily. Class 1-A fetch their luggage and put it in their rooms, then head to the dining hall and have dinner; they enjoy the delicious food that the Pussycats provide them. After finishing dinner, Class 1-A go to the hot springs.

Kota stops Minoru

Kota knocks Minoru off the wall.

On the boys' side of the bath, Minoru notes that the bath schedules for the males and females have overlapped and as a result, the females of Class 1-A are also at the hot springs. Tenya demands Minoru to restrain himself. However, Minoru is unable to contain his desires and begins scaling the wall to look on the other side. As he reaches the top, Kota appears and pushes Minoru down, reprimanding Minoru for his perverted behavior; Minoru curses Kota as he begins falling back down, his bare buttocks landing on Tenya's face. Mandalay says that Shota had informed her that one of the students is an "avatar of pure lust", so she had Kota keep guard.[37]

The next day at 5:30 AM, Class 1-A are outside the training camp cabin. Shota greets his students and tells them that they will undergo reinforcement training to strengthen and upgrade their Quirks. Minoru trains to increase the strength of his scalp, so that he will not bleed even if he keeps popping off balls.[38]

On the night of the third day of training, Minoru is paired up with Mashirao for a test of courage presented by the Pussycats. Minoru tries to trade partners with Yuga, who is paired up with Momo, but he refuses. Class 1-A students traverse the forest while Class 1-B students try and scare them in the dark. However, before Minoru has the opportunity to participate in, their fun event is interrupted by the arrival of the League of Villains' Vanguard Action Squad. The forest is filled with poison gas that leaves most students unconscious, and the villains attack the students and heroes.[39]

Vlad King protects the students

Vlad King protects the students.

Mandalay tells the Class 1-A students who are not participating in the test to leave and orders Tenya to take the lead. As Tenya leads his classmates away, Izuku Midoriya tells Tenya to go on ahead as he informs Mandalay about the villains' objective.[40] Minoru, along with Tenya, Mashirao, and Koji, arrives at the facility, where they see Shota defeating Dabi, who disintegrates after receiving great damage. Shota orders the students to go into the facility, while he heads into the forest himself.[41]

Later, when they receive a telepathic message from Mandalay, in which he says that Shota authorizes the students to use their Quirk to defend themselves, some of the students want to go out to face the villains and help their classmates, but Minoru is surprised that they are really willing to fight the enemy despite the danger. Vlad King refuses their petitions, and before they can argue, they are attacked by a copy of Dabi, but Vlad protects them and quickly defeats the copy. Shota arrives and destroys the clone of Dabi, saying to Vlad King that the villain is only aiming to distract the pro-heroes.

The league of villains finally ends up retiring, but they do it after fulfilling their objective, which was to kidnap Katsuki, leaving several students injured.[42]

As a gift, he offers a melon from him and the rest of the class (not including Katsuki, Kyoka, or Toru). He hears Eijiro and Shoto’s plan to rescue Katsuki, asking Izuku to join them. Although he does not oppose the intentions of his classmates, Minoru does nothing to convince them otherwise.[43]

The Height Alliance was built in just three days. It is meant to protect the students and allows the teachers to keep close surveillance on the students.[45]

Shota Aizawa meets with his students outside of the building. He states they must start preparing to get provisional hero licenses like they had planned to during the training camp. Then, Shota scolds the students because he knows that five of them were present at the site of Katsuki Bakugo's rescue and took it upon themselves to rescue him. He also knows that the rest of Class 1-A except Katsuki, Toru, and Kyoka, also knew about their plans but did nothing to persuade them. The boys are unsatisfied with only having their rooms evaluated, and Minoru says that they must also evaluate the girls' rooms to make the competition fair and to determine a winner. Mina agrees to have theirs evaluated.[46] Minoru starts drooling with the idea of entering the girls' rooms. Had he suggested it only by himself, then everyone would accuse him of having perverted intentions, but now that some of the boys are dissatisfied with how their rooms were evaluated, he has the perfect excuse. When they check Toru's room, Minoru takes the opportunity to try and go through her drawers without even being sneaky about it, leading to him being chastised by her, and being taped up from head to toe by Hanta to keep him from doing it again. Back in the common space on the first floor, the votes are tallied and the Room King Award goes to Rikido. Denki comes straight out of the gate suggesting they should do a maid café. Minoru loudly objects because that idea is too tame and they should have a topless bar instead. He's tied up by Tsuyu and his suggestion eliminated by Momo.

Class 1-A cannot come to any agreement, so Shota tells Class 1-A to make a decision by tomorrow otherwise the class will be doing a public lecture. Back at Heights Alliance, they decide that their school festival program will be a live performance and dance with party space.[61]

Dance team

Minoru apart of the dance team.

Next day, they decide who will be the members of the musical band. He tries to audition to be the vocalist but only manages to shout incoherently. Then, when Kyoka asks for the guitarist positions, Denki and Minoru try out; the former being able to perform well while the latter is unable to reach the guitar strings because his arms are too short to hold the instrument. Fumikage is chosen as the second guitarist.

Having lost his chance to be part of the music band, Minoru becomes spiteful and wants the festival to end as soon as possible. Mina manages to encourage him and to participate in the dancing team with the promise of having a harem part just for him during the dance performance. Minoru accepts as he cries tears of joy.[62]

Haunted Mansion

Being scared in the Haunted Mansion.

Until the festival, the dance team constantly practices the choreography devised by Mina. On the day of the School Festival, Minoru along with the rest of Class 1-A get worried as Izuku is late to show up for the performance, he manages to make it just in the nick of time. The performance of class 1-A ends up being a huge success.[63]

After this, Class 1-A must clean up the mess from their performance. Minoru presses his classmates to clean up faster and not to waste time, because if they do not hurry, all the good seats at the beauty contests will be taken. Class 1-A manages to finish and watch the contest. After the event, Minoru enjoys other attractions until the festival ends.[64]

Pro Hero Arc

As November comes to a close, the Wild Wild Pussycats pay a visit to Class 1-A to celebrate Ragdoll's reinstatement.[65]

Joint Training Arc

During the Joint Training session between Classes 1-A and 1-B, Mina Ashido is placed on a team with Izuku, Ochaco and Minoru. His team faces Neito's team in Round 5, consisting of Neito Monoma, Yui Kodai, Nirengeki Shoda, Reiko Yanagi and Hitoshi Shinso.[66]

Ochaco, Mina and Minoru display their Quirks

Class 1-A team display their Quirks.

As the teams enter Ground Gamma, Minoru Mineta suggests his team try to neutralize Hitoshi first, but Ochaco Uraraka argues that Class 1-B has plenty of other Quirks they should worry about. Class 1-A's team realize they're at a disadvantage, as all of them have more physical Quirks and are therefore vulnerable to Class 1-B's long-range attacks. Izuku volunteers to act as a decoy in an attempt to draw their opponents out. Minoru points out how Izuku is much steadfast than before.[67]

Izuku leaps out ahead of his team, while Mina, Ochaco and Minoru are left behind, preparing traps against Class 1-B. Minoru ties several of his balls to a string and lays them throughout the area in the hope that they can act as something of a trap to snag an opposing member, and when it finally gets a tug he believes he's done just that. However, this turns out to be Reiko is using her Poltergeist Quirk to levitate a barrage of objects around the area, while Yui Kodai uses her Size to change their mass as a means of throwing their opponents off, and Nirengeki uses Twin Impact to add a second wave to the barrage.

Izuku can't control Blackwhip

Team 1-A avoids Izuku's rampaging mysterious power.

Ochaco and Mina use their Quirks to defend against their attacks. Suddenly, something goes wrong with Izuku.[68] Mysterious black tendrils bursts out of his arm, that indiscriminately attack both allies and adversaries.[69] Thanks to the rapid intervention of Ochaco and Hitoshi, Izuku was able to regain control. Despite Izuku's chaotic outburst, all of the students are still eager to win the fight.[70]

Nirengeki throws a projectile towards Mina. Minoru protects her from this attack using his Grape Buckler shield. The recoil sends him flying right into Mina's breasts, all according to his plan. Annoyed, she throws him at the other team using her Acid Layback and Minoru bounces off his own balls for a Grape-Pinky Combo Mineta Bounce attack.[71]

Nirengeki defeats Minoru

Minoru is gut punched by Nirengeki.

Nirengeki subdues Minoru with a strong punch to his gut after reading his moves, defeating him. However, class 1-A counterattacks. Ochaco chops Reiko's neck to subdue her from behind and then pushes Yui into a trap made of Minoru's balls, which gives Mina an opening to uppercut Nirengeki to save Minoru. At the same time, Izuku pins down Hitoshi.[72]

Class 1-A team manages to win the match with a perfect 4-0 victory. After Deku explained what happened with his Quirk and receive congratulations from teachers and colleagues for the victory.[73] Mina wants Shota to punish Minoru for being a "disgusting creep" after the stunt he pulled ago, much to his dismay.[74]

Later, while Classes 1-A and B hanging out together after the exercise, Mina subjects Minoru to the Ludovico Technique to punish him for his perverted actions.[75]

My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising

Girls ignore Minoru

The girls ignore Minoru.

During fall, the Hero Public Safety Commission devises the Hero Work Recommendation Project, to help to train the new generation of Heroes due All Might retirement. Weeks go by, and shortly after winter begins, after the Hero Interview Training, Class 1-A is sent to Nabu Island, a remote place in southern Japan. The Pro Heroes who protected the island are about to retire, so the students will take care of the place, performing duties as real heroes acting like their own "Hero Office", until the arrival of new Pro Heroes.

Because Nabu Island is quite isolated from the rest of the country, and therefore far from any villain activity, there has been no notable incident since the last thirty years. For this reason, their work on the island basically involves mostly minor deeds. Minoru works alongside several of his classmates on the beach as lifesavers. He helps two girls that are getting harassed by two guys by sticking the guys to the floor with his Pop Off Quirk. The girls see Mashirao and think that he's the one who saved him, much to Minoru's frustration and anger.

Mina tricks Minoru

"You know, she sound like a real cutie."

At night, after working all day, all Class 1-A students mention that despite they only did minor deeds, this kind of hero work is still hard, even though they're not fighting anyone. Minoru points out to the class that the only one who hasn't done the work since they arrived on the island was Katsuki, who refuses to do small deeds unless there is a villain involved. The grateful island citizens bring a bunch of food for the kids as a token of appreciation for their help. After dinner, he goes with other students at the bath.

The next day, Minoru is at the office. Mina gets a call from a tourist to help out to report that her suitcase has disappeared, and she dispatches Toru and Yuga. Minoru complains and says the tourist should look for her luggage herself, but Mina tells him that the girl sounded really cute on the phone. Minoru immediately changes his mind and says he's down to go help too.

Minoru, Toru and Yuga finished helping a couple out

"She already has a boyfriend.... Damn you, Mina!"

Later, at the Commercial Area, Minoru, Toru, and Yuga just finished helping a girl out with her missing luggage. Minoru scoffs to the side saying that Mina tricked him into coming because the girl already has a boyfriend. While cursing Mina, suddenly he and the others hear explosions coming up the road.

It turns out that same day, Nine and the gang decide to attack Nabu Island. When Minoru and his classmates come out, they see the villain called Mummy using his Quirk to create puppets and attack the town, so they prepare to face him while the civilians escape. Minoru and Yuga manage to destroy many of Mummy's puppets, but he creates more and continues attacking. Minoru desperately asks Toru to notify the office about the assault, but she replies that she can't since the communication service is dead.

Minoru and Yuga desperately attack

Yuga and Minoru try to contain Mummy as they can.

Fortunately, their classmates were not long in being warned of the attack of the villains across the town. When Minoru, Yuga, and Toru are barely able to fend off the villain's puppets anymore, Katsuki, Eijiro, and Denki arrive at the scene to continue the fight, while Momo, Kyoka, and Mina bring Minoru and his teammates to safety as well as direct the citizens to the safe hold. Mummy ends up being defeated and captured.

Despite this, Class 1-A fails to defeat the remaining villains, and they are forced to retreat. At night, the Class A members regroup at a factory where the rest of the island citizens are currently staying at due to the villain attack. They provide food and first aid to the inhabitants of the island. Later, Class 1-A has a meeting where they discover that the objective of the villain leader, Nine, is to steal the Cell Activation Quirk from a boy named Katsuma. With this information, they devise a plan to approach them in front and keep civilians safe. The plan is to lure the villains to the furthest corner of the island where ancient castle ruins are. The heroes will engage the villains using the terrain to their advantage and spit the villains apart, so each member has to face several students alone.

The trap is ready

The trap is ready.

After his previous fight against Nine, Izuku concludes that Nine cannot use his multiple Quirks for too long as he suffers from intense pain when he does. To deal with Nine, everyone will attack him in waves to force Nine to use his Quirks all the time until he reaches his limit and cannot continue fighting.

The next morning, Nine and his crew arrive at the entrance to the island. They fall into Class 1-A's trap and are forced to split up by Yuga and Momo's Ultimate Moves; and as planned, the students take turns attacking Nine to force him to use his Quirks as much as possible, managing to disperse the villains. Following Izuku’s plan, Hanta and Ochaco commence their assault on Nine by constantly throwing boulders at him. They are forced to to retreat to Minoru's position, where there is a trap they had set up for Nine: a large amount of rocks contained by wooden posts.

Super Grape Rush

Minoru uses his Super Grape Rush.

Ochaco uses her Gravity Quirk to remove the posts, causing a massive rock slide. Nine tries to destroy the rocks with his Bullet Laser Quirk, but it isn't enough and he is forced to protect himself by using the Air Wall Quirk. Then Hanta helps Minoru as he uses his ultimate move: Super Grape Rush to make the rocks stick together even harder with the sticky spheres from his head, burying the villain under the piles of rocks.

Ochaco, Hanta, and Minoru celebrate that they have managed to catch the villain, but their joy is short-lived when Nine uses his Quirks to escape the trap. The shock wave is so powerful that it knocks down the students. Minoru is unconscious due to the counterattack. The villain prepares to strike them again when Izuku and Katsuki step in and attacks him. Hanta momentarily retreats to safeguard Minoru before returning to combat and assist his classmates.

Ochaco and Minoru are rescued

Minoru's lucky rescue.

While he is unconscious, Izuku and Katsuki manage to defeat Nine, saving the island and its inhabitants in the process. After Class 1-A emerged victorious over the threat, the military and a large number of heroes arrive on Nabu Island, rescuing the civilians and medically treating Class 1-A. Minoru is happy when one of Ryukyu's sidekicks carries him in her arms.

The villains are arrested, and Class 1-A continues to stay on Nabu Island to help repair the damage done by Nine and his villains until the Public Safety Commission suspends the program and orders them to be sent home. With the island being repaired by the military and the heroes, Class 1-A boards a ferry to return to U.A. High School.[76]

Endeavor Agency Arc

Episode 101

Class 1-A's Christmas party.

Sometime after Katsuki’s and Shoto’s interview, Minoru is sitting on Izuku’s desk as he comments along Class 1-A about how Katsuki aggressive attitude has caused his footage from the interview being cut. Izuku asks him to get off his table and Tenya shoos Minoru off.

Class 1-A's conversation is interrupted by the timely arrival of Mt. Lady. Because he is still terrified of her after his past experience. Minoru freaks Out when she enters the classroom, clinging to Izuku in sheer terror. Midnight and Shota explain that she is there to explain to them about media exercises. Though Minoru immediately points out that Mt. Lady is the most "showbiz" hero out there, Mt. Lady ignores him and encourages Class 1-A to try their best for the "Hero Interview Training".[77] Over the next several days, the Hero Work Recommendation Project takes place, with Class 1-A staying on Nabu Island before returning.[76]

Denki, Hanta, Minoru and Ibara Work-Studies

Doing his Work-Studies with The Lurkers.

On the night of Christmas Eve, Class 1-A celebrates Christmas at the Heights Alliance. Minoru protests when his classmates talk about school stuff and the imminent Hero Work-Studies instead of enjoying the holiday. When the class holds a surprise gift exchange, Minoru gets a picture of Yuga Aoyama.[78] With Hero Work-Studies back in effect, he, Hanta Sero, Denki Kaminari, and Ibara Shiozaki go work for The Lurkers.[79]

My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission

Egypt Task Force

Minoru in the Egypt Task Force.

Hanta, Denki, and Minoru continue to stay and do their Work Study with the Lurkers until they learned that Humarise has detonated a Trigger Bomb in a major city, killing thousands and destroying the entire infrastructure. In response to the act of terrorism, the World Heroes Association mobilizes the largest anti-terror joint task force, with the Lurkers joining the Egypt Task Force, where they meet Salaam, Egypt's top Hero.

The heroes lead an assault on a Humarise forward operating base in Cairo. Despite their successful raid, the heroes fail to locate the Trigger Bombs or any of the Humarise's leaders. The Egypt team were ordered to be on standby. During the time, they watch on the TV news that Izuku is framed for mass murder by the Otheon government. Minoru and his classmates refuse to believe that Izuku would do something so heinous and voices his opinion in defense of Izuku's innocence. In fact, Minoru feels quite angry that Izuku is accused of such an atrocity, jumping up and yelling that it must be a false report.

Papyrus

Minoru and his classmates follows Salaam to find the Trigger Bomb.

While they are stationed in Cairo the Humarise had publicly broadcasted to the entire world that they have planted the Trigger bombs in over twenty-five cities, one of which is Cairo, and they will detonate the bombs in two hours to "cleanse" the population of their Quirks, much to Minoru's shock. As a result, Cairo is locked in a state of anarchy and chaos, so the Egypt team scrambled to quell the hysteria and locate the bombs. Minoru questions if they will really be able to find it in such a wide area, but Salaam appears to motivate them and asks them to follow him, being impressed by his speed.

Finally the heroes manage to find the bomb, having to engage in an all-out war against the Humarise agents who protect it. During the battle, the heroes are informed that Izuku's group intend to storm Humarise's main base in order to defuse the bombs worldwide. Inspired by the resolve of their classmates, Minoru along with Hanta refuse to give up fighting the villains, using their respective Quirks to retain as many of Humarise's agents as possible.

Trigger Bombs don't explode

The Lurkers take control of the Trigger Bomb.

The Lurkers manage to reach the bomb just as the countdown ends, but after a few seconds nothing happens, indicating that Deku's group had managed to deactivate the Trigger Bombs in time, saving the world from catastrophic destruction. With the main threat neutralized, the heroes defeat the last of Humarise's agents and seize the device, celebrating the victory.

Once the crisis has been averted, the team leave the country and return to Heights Alliance, meeting with the other classmates who also participated in the operation as well as those who remained in the school.[80]

Paranormal Liberation War Arc

Denki, Hanta and Minoru’s improvements

Minoru, Denki, and Hanta's improvements.

Winter break is over, and so is the Hero Work-Studies. The students return to the U.A. to continue their studies and show their progress.[81] At Ground Alpha, Denki, Hanta, and Minoru show off their teamwork and new team moves fighting Villain Bots. After Izuku shows off, Minoru and Hanta congratulate Izuku for his improvements with Blackwhip. Izuku talks to Ochaco and they fist bump over the fact that they lift each other up.[82] Minoru can't help but feel jealous of Izuku's bond with Ochaco.[83]

Later at night, Class 1-A organize a Work-Study/Brainstorm/Hot pot party to energize everyone for the new term. While enjoying food and socializing, Tenya reminds everyone that there are three months left for the final exams, and that they shouldn't relax too much. Minoru protests to Ida that his constant reminders ruin the taste of the hot pot. Shoto tells him that he doesn't taste any different to him. Minoru angrily demands him to drop the "literal airhead" gimmick.[84]

Hanta scolds Mineta

Minoru makes excuses to avoid conflict.

Months later, by the end of March, Minoru and several other students are involved in an operation to take down the Paranormal Liberation Front. He is a member of the Villa Backup Team.[85] Hanta tells him to get up, but he retorts by saying that the rear guard's job is to catch anyone that slips past the front line, so getting pumped up would be an insult to the Pro Heroes, but Hanta tells him again. Nirengeki notices one of the Heroes saying that the raid has begun, and Minoru responds with shock that he said that so casually.[86]

After the raid commenced, heroes gained the upper hand, taking down many of the Front's members.[87] However, the Jaku team allowed Tomura to awaken, and he ordered Gigantomachia to come to him.[88] This results in the giant defeating many heroes as he simply walked towards Jaku City. Kyoka warns her teammates that she has detected with her Quirk something insanely huge approaching them, prompting the few heroes who are there to go ahead to secure the frontlines. Minoru assumes that the heroes are uniting, but the concern is reflected on her face.

Minoru prepares a Pop Off Vineyard for Gigantomachia

Mineta helps set the trap against the villains.

Not far from there, Midnight, with the help of Kamui Woods, tries to put Gigantomachia to sleep, as sheer force did nothing to him. They are however stopped by Dabi and Mr. Compress, who are riding on the giant's back, along with other lieutenants. Midnight lies on the ground in a bad shape and she contacts Momo through their comms, telling her that she needs to put Gigantomachia asleep with an anesthetic. Communication is cut off when Midnight is assaulted by PLF members.

After carefully thinking about the situation, Momo explains to the other students her plan to ambush the enemy, creating for that purpose a large number of vials of undiluted sedative and giving each student a vial.[89] Her plan is to try to get Gigantomachia to swallow at least a vial filled with sedative to make him fall asleep. As Minoru worries for Midnight's safety, Mina assures them that she survived, as she still has more to teach at school.

The students try to open Gigantomachia's mouth

The students try to open Gigantomachia's mouth.

Following Momo's lead, the students set the trap for Gigantomachia. Juzo uses his Quirk to soften up the ground and Momo creates explosives with her Quirk and plants them in the softened areas. Momo also creates several ropes to which Minoru sticks several of his Pop Off spheres, placing the ropes in a strategic position for when the enemy falls into the trap. As they planned, Gigantomachia step into the students' trap and he falls to the ground. The ropes covered in Minoru's orbs stick to his chin, and while the giant tries to get out, several students pull the strings to force him to open his mouth, while the others charge at him to give him the sedative.

The PLF lieutenants who are on Gigantomachia's back defend the monster and themselves from the students’ assault, with Dabi creating a fire barrier to prevent the students from getting close. The giant himself blows away several students with his powerful breath, but when he tries to get out of the softened earth, the bombs that Momo planted explode, causing him to sink even deeper. Several heroes come to help the students, with Mt. Lady pushing Gigantomachia down on the ground to open up his mouth for the sedative to be administered.[90]

Students bombard Gigantomachia

Students shoot Gigantomachia to help Eijiro.

Although Gigantomachia shakes off the heroes, Fortunately Eijiro manages to throw a vial into Gigantomachia's mouth, and when the giant is about to crush him, Minoru and other students start shooting him with cannons created by Momo, allowing Eijiro to be rescued by Setsuna Tokage. Several heroes led by Majestic arrive to take charge of Gigantomachia now that he has ingested the sedative, because the more he moves the faster it will spread.[91]

However, annoyed by the constant interruptions, Gigantomachia transforms, taking on an armored appearance, and with his enormous strength, he finally manages to get out of the trap and easily defeat the heroes, to continue on his way to Tomura, destroying everything in his path. Before being killed, Majestic uses his Quirk to bring the U.A. students to safety, who can only watch with complete horror at the destruction left by the monster. Minoru questions if whether or not they did make the right decisions, because from where he is standing, everything has been made worse.[92]

Rikido and Minoru trying to stop Katsuki

Minoru and Rikido try to stop Katsuki.

Two days later, Minoru, Toru, Hanta, and Rikido see Katsuki wake up from his injuries, and Minoru cries tears of relief. The students take Katsuki's irritated state as a sign of wellness, much to his annoyance. Minoru rambles how they were worried when they heard he got stabbed and that he's glad he is alive even though he is a delinquent, but Katsuki ignores Minoru and asks how everyone else is doing. Worried for Izuku, Katsuki stubbornly makes his way toward Izuku's room, with Rikido and Minoru forcefully trying to stop him.[93] Eventually, Katsuki is stopped by Tsuyu, who helps carry him away using her tongue. They notice Hawks and Best Jeanist going to Izuku's room, wanting to ask him about One For All.[94]

Later, back in Heights Alliance, Minoru rushes to the common room with a letter from Izuku in his hand, learning that all of his classmates received one. They learn about One For All and that Tomura and All For One are after him, so he has decided to leave U.A., much to his classmates' confusion and shock.[95]

Dark Hero Arc

Endeavor allows Class 1-A to take his phone

Minoru and his classmates scrambled for the phone.

A few days after Izuku left U.A., Minoru joins a meeting with Class 1-A. He and his class deduce that Izuku is now working with Endeavor and his team. All Might hasn’t returned either and the classes have been suspended, so they haven't become second years yet, with the Hero course students on standby and helping as security, so acquiring any information in this environment will be tough. A few days later, Class 1-A pushed forward using Endeavor's U.A. Alumni status to confront him about it.

Convinced of Class 1-A's dedication to Izuku, Endeavor decides to hand the students his GPS satellite phone that can pinpoint Izuku's location. Many of them, like Minoru and Hanta, say that they want to help him even though their relationship has been so far school-based.

Once Principal Nezu gives Class 1-A permission to bring back Izuku to U.A, Minoru joins with them to search for Izuku while at the same time, apprehending any prison escapees along the way. After a month of trailing in Izuku's whereabouts, Class 1-A finally arrived on the scene to defeat Dictator. When Izuku refuses to yield, he demands everyone to get out of his way, which means they might have to fight.[96]

Mineta Beads

Minoru catches Izuku with his Mineta Beads.

During the confrontation, Minoru is swung onto Izuku by Tsuyu, sticking to him using a bunch of his Pop Off balls attached to a rope, dubbed Mineta Beads: Ten-Fold. He shouts to him that he never believed it was his power that made him awesome, but that he was someone who was scared yet still managed to find a path towards success together. Despite this, Izuku apologizes to Minoru, and shoots out three Blackwhip tendrils, one of which hitting him in the chest and tosses him onto a nearby building.[97]

Minoru rejoins with the rest of Class 1-A after Izuku was caught by Tenya and Eijiro and listens to Katsuki apologizing to Izuku before he collapses from the shock and exhaustion. Once Izuku is secured, Minoru and the class escort him back to a heavily fortified U.A. High where they are confronted by angry protesting civilians.[98] They are aware that Tomura is after Izuku and fear them being in danger, leading Ochaco to give a pleading speech toward the crowd on way he needs their help and deserves to stay and rest.

When Izuku broke down into tears over this, Minoru ran to comfort him but was held back by Tenya, who stated it was "not their place", as Izuku is comforted by Kota and a mutant girl. Once the civilians accepted Izuku, Minoru ran up with Kota to hug Izuku.[99] Minoru then helped bathe Izuku afterwards alongside the other boys, later lamenting on Shoto's "natural pretty boy look" as they're all drying off, and joining the rest of the class in declaring they'll do whatever they can to bring back the world and make it better.[100]

U.A. Traitor Arc

Two days later, Class 1-A learn that during this time, Tomura had fought American No. 1 Hero, Star and Stripe, and while she was killed during the battle with Tomura successfully stealing her Quirk, New Order, thanks to her actions, the Quirk acted like a virus within his body, destroying several of his Quirks and delaying his procedure by about a week. All Might informs all this to the class, telling them that this is now their perfect time to prepare for the inevitable all-out war. The class reveals over the past month they had been training with the Wild, Wild Pussycats in order to keep up with Izuku in the incoming conflict, and are now about to head out to continue their training.[101]

Class A stunned by Yuga's betrayal

Minoru and Class 1-A devastated over Yuga's betrayal.

The class proceed to train amongst themselves in the courtyards outside. During a break, Denki discusses with Minoru about their plans for the upcoming war, wondering if it should be easier with the weakened Tomura and All For One and sedated Gigantomachia, leading Katsuki and Momo to explain all the reasons they'll still have trouble to fight back. Denki comments that even with his back against the wall, All For One’s still the one with the grin on his face.[102]

Shortly after this, Minoru alongside the rest of the class discover the news that Izuku has captured the Aoyamas and revealing Yuga to be the traitor who isolated the class at the U.S.J. and revealed the location of their training camp. Once the Aoyamas are restrained, he and the other class refuse to back down from the news despite Nezu's request, all in stunned and tears of Yuga's betrayal. He listens to Yuga's desperation that drove him to despair and then Izuku pleading to let Yuga help them, leading the class to realize Yuga may be the only one able to deceive All For One.[103]

Class A eager to take down All For One

Minoru and the others vow to bring All For One down.

Shota then appears on a tablet screen, taking full responsibility and reveals that he has an idea. He listened to Shota's plan after the Aoyama Family's ears have been covered. Naomasa then has the Aoyama Family escorted back to their HQ, telling everyone not to say a word to anyone else about the plan while he and the rest of the class looking on sullenly.

Back at Heights Alliance, Minoru takes a breather, before getting ready to gear back up, as he and everyone, with fire and rage in their eyes over the betrayal, prepares to bring All For One down once and for all.[104] He joins up with their "Search Squad" to head out to hunt down the villains.[105]

Later that night, Minoru and his classmates return to Heights Alliance for a break after coming up with nothing in their search. Minoru has a conversation with Izuku, telling him that because of how busy they've all been he hasn't been able to talk about girls. Just then, All Might, Naomasa, and Nezu arrive in the dorms, informing them all about their secret finalized plans for the upcoming Second War.[106]

The next day, Nezu announces to the civilians that Tomura will make his big move in 4 days, with Class 1-A moving outside of the U.A. barrier to began prioritizing their safety. He says his goodbyes before moving out of Heights Alliance and into its upgraded makeshift fortress called "Troy".[106]

Final War Arc

Battle at Jaku Hospital Ruins

Minoru and his classmates defend Gigantomachia's containment.

With Tomura's completion approaching, the Heroes prepare for the Final War to defeat the army of villains led by All For One. Knowing that All For One is keeping tabs on the Heroes through Search, his mole Yuga Aoyama and his family are utilized in order to lure him out of hiding. Their next step of the plan is to make use of Kurogiri's Warp Gate to allow them to warp themselves into the fight, to catch All For One off guard, as well as warp the villains to locations all over Japan, separating them.[107]

While the majority of his classmates and the Pro Heroes are assigned to face off against the major generals of the Paranormal Liberation Front, Minoru is sent on a team led by Mt. Lady, which includes Mina, Eijiro, and several 1-B students, to the ruins of the Jaku General Hospital, where Gigantomachia's Detainment Facility is stationed. Their plan is to defend it from the villains which they believe will try to attack and free the beast. Sure enough, a subsection of the Paranormal Liberation Front attacks with the Heroes present putting up a fight. They also receive word that Shoto managed to defeat Dabi, giving them all the inspiration to continue to do their best.[108]

Despite the Heroes putting up a fight and taking out a chunk of their opponents, things start to turn in favor for the Villains, to Minoru's displeasure. Using their flying Quirks to remain in the air, they activate an ultra-high frequency recording of All For One's voice, intending to re-awaken Gigantomachia. Mt. Lady attempts to smack the Villains to stop them, but they are too late as he successfully breaks free from his containment.

Mt. Lady struggles against the beast to prevent him from escaping, while Eijiro attempts to free Hitoshi, who accompanied them as backup, from the Sludge Villain, but Mina is able to save them both using her Acid Quirk at its maximum output. This gives Hitoshi the opportunity to brainwash Machia, and commanding him to take down all the remaining threats. With Machia now under their control, they proceed to apprehend all the defeated Villains, when the Jaku Team receives a request for assistance to help the Gunga Team who are engaging All For One.[109]

Minoru begs All For One to not steal Dark Shadow

Minoru stays defiant and tells All For One to leave Fumikage alone.

Minoru joins the rest of the Jaku team to ride on Gigantomachia toward the Gunga Mountain where the villain is trying to escape from the battle. He watches as even after All For One breaks the Brainwashing from Machia, he still chooses the fight his master alongside the Heroes, as revenge for being left behind. Minoru watches as Mt. Lady continues to use giant weapons to push down All For One, only to be stunned to see the villain retaliate by using Rivet Stab to slices her stomach, causing her to fall to the ground. All For One proceeds to use his Quirks to their limit and decimates Gigantomachia and Dark Shadow before coming down to massacre the villains.

As the dust settles, all the Heroes lie battered, broken, bleeding to death, or dead. Minoru barely survived the onslaught and was left severely wounded. A barely conscious Hawks still attempts to resist to protect Fumikage from All For One, who intends to steal his Quirk, stealing Fierce Wings in the process.

Even despite being unable to stand up, Minoru weakly throws one of his Pop Off balls at All For One's leg, getting his attention. He tells him not to steal Dark Shadow or else he'll become an edgelord, and that he should steal his Quirk instead as he'll get a cool hairdo out of it, begging him not to take it from Fumikage. Seeing the look in his eyes, All For One decides not to waste another second and leaves the battlefield, telling the Heroes thanks to the press' arrival, people are going to see what happened, so they know they failed again, since they couldn't protect a single thing.[110]

Despite his injuries, his teacher, Shota, is gathering all the Heroes that can still fight to head for Mt. Fuji. Realizing that Izuku is at Mt. Fuji, Minoru, along with several of his other active Class 1-A students volunteer to accompany the army of heroes being brought together to support the Heroes fighting at the Takoba National Stadium against an Tartarus escapee known for wide-range devastation and battles of attrition, Gashly Eijiju. Once they managed to defeat the villain, the Heroes are being teleported through the Warp Gates to Mt. Fuji where Izuku and "All For One" are battling to the death.

As many Heroes emerge from the Warp Gates, Minoru and his fellow Class 1-A students: Denki, Momo, Mezo, and Koji, arrive from the Warp Gate along with an army of heroes to support Izuku, declaring that they were all feeling the same and down for the count, they heard Izuku was busting his butt out there, so they got their own butts into gear and came to confront "All For One".[111]
